Breakthrough bleeding on cilest?

So i've been getting severe pelvic pain for the last year and i'm on the waiting list for a laproscopy as i have seen a gynacologost who is pretty certain i have endometriosis. About 5 months ago my GP put me on the contraceptive pill Cilest. I found that my pain was much much worse, almost unbearable when i was taking my 7 day break to have my period. I mentioned this to my gynacologist who i saw about a month ago. He told me to take Cilest continuosuly without ever taking a break. I should have had my break just over a week ago and for the last 4/5 days i've had some breakthrough bleeding that have contained quite a lot of clots. What should i do!? Is this normal??
