COuld this cold and teething be ociated?

my son is about 7 months now. for the past 2 days, he's had symptoms of a cold. Runny nose, sneezing, coughing..I've tried running the cool mist humidifier thing..The nose sucky thing...is it something i should bring him to the dr for? I've called and left a message on the nurse line. I'm just waiting for them to call me back. Also, he hasn't gotten any teeth yet...do you think he migh tbe teething now, and that these are symptoms???
