I have gay feeling for my fraternity brother?

so..i'm bi..i have this guy in my fraternity who i have this really big crush on him. we were really cool at first...talked and all....we played around and stuff..you know guy stuff...i think he could tell that i liked him..but he would tell me i had a cute face, sweety, darling all this stuff that made me like him even more even though he was playing around. i've tried just being friends even staying away from him. But now i feel like he doesnt want to talk to me..i always got mad at him easily though...he just had some personal problems i found out and he likes a girl..but i just want to be his friend...do you think he is avoiding me or is it just in my head. I'VE NEVER MADE ANY MOVES ON HIM OR ANY GUY..JUST HAVE THOSE FEELINGS. AND I UNDERSTAND HE LIKES GIRLS...hes told me its cool if i were to be gay...but i just want to be friends.
